Maybe everything will be okay

So much of our experience is based on what “channel” our minds are tuned to.
Do we turn to the “Oh shit, I’m screwed. Things are never going to be okay ever again!” channel?

Or do we flip until we get to the “This is challenging, but I’ll get through it and be better off because of it” channel

There’s also the popular “Why bother?” channel.

The frequently visited “Fuck it!” channel.

The “Why is this happening to me?” channel.

And the in-demand “This is too hard, I can’t do it…” channel.

There are thousands of channels to choose from, but we tend to go directly to the ones we’ve always gone to. And for most of us, these are the ones that fill us with fear and anxiety and ultimately keep us stuck in the muck, unable to see the lotus emerging from the mud.

Even when things seem impossibly hard, we have a choice about what channel we view the world from.

Yes, the “I’m doomed!” channel is always an option.
But so is the “I will find a way” channel.
There’s also the powerful but rarely utilized “The universe provides” channel.

Other helpful channels include:
“I have everything it takes to figure this out.”

“Everything happens right on time.”

“I am amazing and worthy.”

“Maybe everything will be okay.”

The next time you find yourself looping on the same ol’ doom and gloom stations, make a conscious effort to flip the channel to something that will help you. It might be tempting to stay in the same negative loop, but seeing the world and living your life from a place of scarcity, fear, regret, and self-loathing will only lead to more of that.

It might not be realistic to be on the “Life is perfect and amazing, and I am unstoppable” channel all the time, but balancing out the programming is a start. Remember, you’re the only one with your remote.

Ask yourself: Am I tuning into as many positive channels as I am negative? Start there, and the positive ones will get easier to turn to.

Wishing you a happy weekend. May it be filled with finding a new channel.
